Before she became a judge, Nardella had about 12 years of experience as an attorney. In that time, she argued 2 appellate cases to completion. She defended some of the largest corporations, including advising and defending insurance companies. She also specialized in complex commercial litigation, including product and professional liability, medical malpractice (doctors and patients), and commercial fiduciary litigation. In this role she appeared in court an average of 3 times per month.

In 2017, she opened a firm with her husband where she managed the firm and ran the Estates and Trusts department. She advises clients on personal estate planning and planning for succession of family businesses. She oversaw any related trials.

Nardella spent 6 years on the Ninth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. The commission interviews and selects which applicants move forward for potential appointment by the governor.

Nardella has been active in a number of political organizations. This includes the Orange County Young Republicans and Orange County Republican Executive Committee. She appeared on 90.7 WMFE's Intersection podcast as a recurring Republican analyst. Topics include the governor’s race & the 2nd Amendment, election results, and the Florida Supreme Court conservative majority.
