This candidate is a member of the Federalist Society.
David Allen Baker has 13 years of experience as an attorney.
In 2009 he opened his own firm specializing in civil law.
Before becoming an attorney, he served in the Army for 10 years. He then served in the Florida Army National Guard for and additional 10 years. Starting in 1995, he was a law enforcement officer with the Cocoa Police Department. He stayed there for 15 years.
He says he would not be comfortable litigating criminal cases as a lawyer. (Note: Most of county court cases involve traffic offenses, misdemeanors, and civil disputes of $30,000 or less.)
