This candidate is a member of the Federalist Society.
Judge Elizabeth Gibson was appointed to this seat in 2020 by Governor Ron DeSantis.*
Before she was appointed to the Circuit bench, she had 15 years of experience as an attorney.
She began her career in 2005 as a Prosecutor. After 7.5 years, she moved on to be in-house counsel in the Compliance Department of OrlandoHealth. Then she worked as in-house counsel at AdventHealth on the executive leadership team, focusing on Corporate Responsibility. In 2019 she became General Counsel for Christian Care Ministry where she stayed until her appointment to the bench.
In 2005, before practicing law, she spent 6 months working for her local U.S. Congressman in Washington, D.C. (I could not find which Congressman she worked for.)
