She began her career in 2001 as a law clerk in Pennsylvania. After 2 years, she became a Prosecutor in Brevard County and has remained there for 18 years. She has trained other attorneys in that office.
Before becoming an attorney, she worked for 7 years as a Probation Officer. During that time she spent 2 years working part-time as a Mental Health technician in a psychiatric facility in Vero Beach. She has also worked as a Pretrial Release Investigator at the Brevard County Jail.
